About Course

Welcome to the EDU-MENT Training

Education in Mental Health for Nurses in Home and Residential Care (EDU-MENT) is an innovative blended-learning platform that trains nurses to identify and address the psychosocial needs of older adults through digital tools, caring theory, and evidence-based practice.


About the Blended Learning Approach

There are 125 effort hours in this 5 ECTS training program. These hours are composed of:

2. Integrating Holistic Care Strategies Based on EDU-MENT Findings
Utilize EDU-MENT results to provide holistic care

3. Addressing Loneliness and Social Engagement Using Digital Tools
Apply strategies to reduce loneliness and isolation

4. Facilitating Collaboration Between Nurses, Doctors, and Psychologists
Explain principles of effective interdisciplinary collaboration

5. Promotion of Psychosocial Competence and Self-Organization
Enable nurses to better cope with daily challenges, emotional stress, self-care, and stress management.
